The St. Austell Bay Boat Club is run entirely by volunteers from within its membership. The Committee is responsible for the day-to-day management of the club, its facilities at Par Harbour, and the organisation of events throughout the season. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for the club, please don't hesitate to get in touch with any of the committee members listed below.

The club is governed by an Executive Committee made up of elected officers — President, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Secretary — who between them oversee the strategic direction and operational running of SABBC. Supporting them is a team of General Committee members, each of whom takes on responsibility for specific areas of club life, from maintenance of the sluice and slipway to membership communications and the club's online presence.

The committee meets regularly throughout the year to discuss club matters, review finances, plan events, and ensure that our facilities at Par Harbour continue to meet the needs of members. All members are welcome to raise matters with the committee, either by contacting an officer directly or by attending the Annual General Meeting, where members can vote on club matters and stand for election to the committee themselves.

SABBC is a club built on the dedication and goodwill of its members, and the committee is no different. Every member of the committee gives their time freely and voluntarily, and we are enormously grateful for the contribution each of them makes to keeping the club running smoothly. If you feel you could contribute to the committee or would like to get more involved in the running of the club, we would love to hear from you — new faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.
