Tallies and signing in book can be found inside. The door is fixed ajar to avoid hand contact. Pens are not supplied so, please bring one with you.

SLUICE USERS – must use the Car Park on the right of the Harbour Entrance and follow the new signing in procedure.

Toilet and wash facilities will still be available but, social distancing rules still apply.

Please remember that we are in the middle of a COVID-19 crisis. Keep social distancing and please minimise the time spent on site.

If any member of your household is suffering from the symptoms of COVID-19, please stay away.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU FOLLOW THE NEW RULES AS FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN HARBOUR CLOSURE.

2021 Membership

Very Important information

The Executive Committee met recently to discuss various issues affecting the club since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic. The main topic of conversation being the renewal of club membership for 2021. After considerable debate and relaying the proposal to the full committee, a unanimous decision was reached. I am therefore instructed to inform you as follows:

  • All existing SABBC memberships to be extended by a further 12 months, at no extra charge
  • SABBC will not be accepting new membership applications for 2021
  • There will be no SABBC meetings scheduled for the Autumn or Winter

The club has continued to operate safely since reopening in May. The chairman wishes to thank everyone involved in the many tasks undertaken and asks that everyone continues to adhere to the new procedures as stated at the end of this letter.

Should anyone have any concerns or suggestions please comment through the SABBC Website website or Facebook page.

Wishing everyone safe and enjoyable times on the water.

Rob Hancock

Secretary

Covid-19 update

We are pleased to inform Boat Club members that the requirement to pre-book a launching slot at the slipway will cease as from tonight, Sunday, 7th June.

The sign in station at the slipway remains in operation and members will need to bring their own pen and, of course, continue to observe social distancing measures when using walkways and shared spaces.

The committee would like to thank you all for your continued cooperation during the pandemic.

Stay Alert, Stay Safe. Enjoy your time on the water.
